Aperture is a space through which light passes in an optical or photographic instrument, especially the variable opening by which light enters a camera. Aperture can also affect exposure, depth of field, and sharpness of an image. By letting a lot of light or a small amount of light in your lens by opening up your aperture, you can change your photos focus on an entire landscape or just a singular subject making everything else blurred. You see an example of this in the pictures of the camera. The pictures of the camera are my favorite because the gradual decrease of focus as you look further back into the picture is really interesting to me. In the project we had to do 5 wide and 5 narrow.

ISO is simply a camera setting that will brighten or darken a photo. As you increase your ISO number, your photos will grow progressively brighter. For that reason, ISO can help you capture images in darker environments, or be more flexible about your aperture and shutter speed settings. In this project we took one photo with a low ISO and the same photo again with a high ISO and photoshopped them together to make the comparison and show an example of the difference.
